The mermaid is a totem, a harbinger and a warning of natures power. A mythological figure that heralds the will of the sea. If the bird is free to flee, so should you. Although the wave will be in constant motion, the mermaid is bound to her surroundings and will ultimately surrender to the wind and weather.
