artist statement

Travis Geertruida (1993) is an artist currently based in The Hague. In 2021, he graduated from HKU with a BA in Fine Art. Travis Geertruida brings together multiple, multidisciplinary works that emerge from long trajectories of research. Both individually and as part of an installation, his works often include symbols and structures of clear cultural significance, allowing him to expose and question their meaning for himself and others.
